Job Objective:
The position is responsible for the tax compliance of the Company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Preparation/review of statutory tax returns for monthly, quarterly and annual submission to the BIR along with the required attachments/schedules
2. Preparation/review of the regular reconciliation of tax-related accounts against the tax returns for filing
3. Review of the company’s compliance with the applicable tax rules and regulations
4. Shares tax updates with internal clients and provide tax advice, where applicable. Ensures that tax regulations and policies are implemented, monitored, and documented.
5. Preparing for and handling of BIR tax audits
6. Assists in the coordination of annual audit of external auditors.
7. Handling of BIR reportorial requirements and permits.
8. Monitoring of creditable withholding tax assets to ensure that these are properly supported by CWT certificates
9. Processing of annual renewal of insurances and coordinating with insurance brokers and insurance providers
10. Management of accounting records
11. Performance of other related duties as assigned to him/her from time to time by his/her superiors.
Job Qualification
Qualifications:
- BS Accountancy Graduate, CPA is a preference.
- At least 5 years’ experience of taxation.
- Strong organizational and communication skill, as well as detailed oriented.
- With experience in dealing with BIR and other regulatory bodies
- Knowledge in MS Office.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics – NAV.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa.
