SALES PLANNING AND PRICING ANALYST

Job Description

The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and ensuring that pricing is accurate, competitive, and maximizes profitability. The Analyst will also be working with Wholesale, Commercial and Industrial Sales in developing the appropriate pricing strategies given current and projected market conditions and dynamics. This role involves collaboration with various departments such as Sales, Marketing, Controllers, Supply and Distribution, and Operations to gather data, analyze market trends and create pricing models that support the company’s goal.

Key Responsibilities;

  1. Ensure that pricing indicated in the Company’s pricing engine is correct and accurate and reflects the approved pricing levels.
  2. Monitor and evaluate LPG Contract prices, foreign exchange rates and ensure that Company price adjustment is in compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  3. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing team to assess customer requirements and tailor pricing strategies to maximize customer retention and revenue
  4. Analyze the financial impact of pricing changes and provide recommendations for adjustments.
  5. Conduct analysis of market trends, competitor pricing and customer demand to develop pricing strategies.
  6. Assist in addressing any pricing inquiries and provide support to the Sales team in pricing negotiations with customers.
  7. Provide key decision support to the management and other stakeholders in terms of pricing strategies, cost and margin data analysis and market trends.
  8. Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of various pricing strategies on business performance.
  9. Maintain the existing price models and continue to incorporate new improvements to adapt to the evolving business needs of the company. Oversee the data integrity of the gas pricing systems of the compnay
  10. Stay up to date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive pricing strategies.

Job Qualification

  • Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or Management-related field.
  • With at least 1 year of relevant work experience in data analysis, market research, corporate planning and/or business development.
  • Proficient in MS Office;Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
  • With excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Willing to be assigned in Alabang, Muntinlupa.
